Overview
HelloFresh is seeking an Engineering Manager for our Growth Alliance team in New York. This role is pivotal in architecting and implementing solutions that enhance our e-commerce and supply chain capabilities. You will lead a team of skilled engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement software solutions to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, promoting continuous learning and career development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with company goals.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in agile software development environments.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
- Strong technical expertise in back-end development, including experience with Java, JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with front-end technologies and frameworks, particularly Next.js.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools such as Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
