Speaksage is an AI-driven platform focused on leadership development. We are backed by great investors and are launching our first major enterprise contracts with a pipeline that includes name-brand Fortune 500 companies. Our team is distributed globally, with cofounders based in San Francisco, CA.
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who can ship quality code quickly, collaborate effectively with a team, and contribute positively to our company culture. As a founding engineer, you will:
- Work closely with the founding team to design and build the world’s best management training solution, powered by state-of-the-art AI models.
- Produce high-quality software with minimal bugs, clean code, and lasting architecture.
- Serve as a role model as we build the best culture in the industry: a place where excellence and honesty coexist with kindness, playfulness, and supportiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Ship quality code quickly and have a history of taking projects from conception to execution.
- Have informed architectural opinions and be flexible when others disagree.
- Collaborate with a team towards shared goals.
- Care about the people around you, including employees, customers, and your personal support network.
- Be familiar with TypeScript and ready to work with our stack, including NextJS, PostgreSQL, and serverless hosting on Vercel.
- Have experience working with and optimizing LLMs, with bonus points for familiarity with fine-tuning and data pipelines.
- Overlap with US Pacific Time for at least 3 working hours between 9am and 5pm.
