Front End Engineer, Automated Reasoning - Identity

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Front End Engineer in the Automated Reasoning Identity team. This role involves developing tools that predict the future behavior of computer systems, ensuring they meet security and operational standards. You will be responsible for delivering features across the full software lifecycle, from design to deployment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers and product managers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver front-end features using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to create user-friendly interfaces.
Coach team members on producing high-quality code and conduct code reviews.
Ensure software maintainability and extensibility through clear documentation and design choices.
Train new team members on software construction and operation.

About the Team

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2, along with innovative products that set AWS apart in the industry. As part of the UC organization, you will support the development of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
1+ years of experience in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience with agile software development methodologies.
Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.
Experience building reusable UX components or libraries.

Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from €129,300 to €223,600 per year, depending on location and experience. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive benefits package.
