About The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at TUI, you will be part of a dynamic team that spans across multiple countries and cultures, dedicated to revolutionizing the travel and tourism industry through innovative technology solutions. This role involves a blend of front-end and back-end development, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and enjoyable user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable and robust applications using a mix of technologies including JavaScript, Java, CSS, and GraphQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that align with business goals.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application security.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain standard coding practices, and continuously look for ways to improve application performance.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to streamline deployment and operational processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks and tools as well as experience with Java.
- Strong understanding of CSS, front-end frameworks, and server-side logic.
- Experience with GraphQL and other API technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
