Join Tripadvisor's Hotels Team as a Full Stack Software Engineer II
Tripadvisor, the world's largest travel guidance platform, is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our fast-paced Hotels Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on consumer-facing products that are visited by hundreds of millions of travelers each month. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building, upgrading, and maintaining our hotels products, providing travelers with the best guidance for their trips and vacations.
What You'll Do
- Code!: Implement new features creatively and efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Take responsibility for the quality of the code produced by you and the team.
- Technology Stack: Operate across our evolving technology stack, primarily using React, Java, and Kotlin.
- UI Development: Most of the work involves UI development using React, with opportunities to work on microservices written in Java and Kotlin.
- Software Engineering: Take responsibility for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA, and maintenance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Design teams to define feature specifications and develop high-quality deliverables for our customers.
- Global Teamwork: Collaborate with other engineering groups located around the world.
Skills and Experience
- Experience: 3+ years of industry experience.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Front-End Development: Experience with React or similar frameworks.
- Back-End Development: Experience and/or interest in back-end development using Java.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with a distributed team and work autonomously on projects.
