Job Overview
We are seeking a Credit Risk Models Quantitative Developer to join our team in the Warsaw Metropolitan Area. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining IFRS9/AIRB models for ING portfolios. You will be part of a dynamic team that interacts with stakeholders from various locations and departments, ensuring that our credit risk models are robust and compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Development: Develop and maintain IFRS9/AIRB models for ING portfolios.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with stakeholders from different locations, departments, and seniority levels.
- Agile Methodologies: Work within an Agile framework, utilizing Scrum to manage projects and tasks.
- Data Management: Handle databases, data preparation, and data quality control to ensure the accuracy and reliability of models.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and SAS for model development and data analysis.
- Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of statistical inference and econometric methods.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (B2/C1 level).
- Education: Academic degree in a quantitative field.
- Mindset: Independent, creative, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, or CQF are a plus.
- Version Control: Ability to use version control systems effectively.
- Agile/Scrum Familiarity: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
About the Team
The Model Development department is responsible for the development of risk models at ING. We develop all credit risk, operational risk, IRRBB, trading, and economic capital models for ING in cooperation with global and local ING offices. Our team follows the Agile approach and mindset, using Scrum to manage our daily activities. The broad autonomy given to our employees stimulates motivation and creativity, allowing us to adapt to the changing requirements of business partners.
