About the Role
Join the Data Services team at NetApp and be part of an exciting mission to safeguard and govern data across all environments. As a Junior Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will contribute to the growth and evolution of our data services products, focusing on the groundbreaking Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO).
You will collaborate closely with field teams, engineering, product marketing, and customers to drive the adoption and utilization of CVO, aligning customer needs with company goals. Your role will shape the future of data protection services, adding value to storage infrastructure and expanding subscription offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to field teams, enhancing deal success and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in hands-on testing and documentation for custom configurations.
- Collaborate with product marketing to develop use-case documentation.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of sales tools and internal training content.
- Support product advocacy at trade shows and conferences.
- Act as a technical liaison for customer and partner escalations.
- Contribute to early access programs, ensuring successful feature adoption.
- Assist in managing the product enhancement request process and provide input on design and prioritization.
- Collaborate with engineering and product management teams on new designs and participate in technical market analysis.
Job Requirements
- Familiarity with at least one "big 3" hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
- Basic understanding of full-stack technologies, including Operating Systems, Networking, Virtualization, Security/Governance, Finance/Cost Management, Big Data/High Performance Computing/Artificial Intelligence, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Some experience in a Cloud Solutions Engineer or similar role is desirable.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle simple to moderately complex scenarios.
- Exposure to designing for environments with security requirements is a plus.
- Customer-focused mindset, with an eagerness to understand customer problems and contribute to resolving their pain points.
