Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

This role involves working on technical designs that support business strategies in line with architectural governance, standards, and policies.

Role Overview

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing configurations across the EMEA network infrastructure. You will work with multiple technical teams to identify end-to-end solutions that balance business, security, availability, and resiliency requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document technical application and service requirements.
• Create and document designs using design patterns and standard approaches.
• Configure devices to deploy new services into production.
• Participate in the prioritization and scheduling of implementation activities.
• Manage stakeholder requirements and actively participate in the Change Management process.
• Assist with troubleshooting existing and new implementations to resolve issues and improve services.
• Identify and manage the mitigation of risks within the operational environment.
• Ensure documentation is updated to reflect new additions or modifications in the environment.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in implementing and configuring Cisco switches and routers.
• Experience as a Load Balancing and Proxy Network Engineer.
• Familiarity with load balancing technologies such as F5 and AVI.
• Ability to build and configure McAfee or Skyhigh Web Gateway proxies.
• Strong DMZ architecture and engineering experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Virtual Tunnel Interfaces (VTIs), Crypto Maps, and IPSEC protocol.
• Experience and working knowledge of BGP and Multicast.
• Strong communication and technical analytical skills.
• Network security and compliance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
