Role Overview

As a Senior Java Tech Lead at Concentrix Catalyst, you will be part of the engine that powers our experience design and engineering capabilities. You will work with a global solutions company that reimagines customer experience (CX) through strategy, talent, and technology. You will be surrounded by the best in the world, providing market-leading technology and insights to modernize and simplify the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of software developers and coordinate with the offshore team in India.
• Design and develop high-quality Java applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, testing, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements and define technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Java applications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 7 years in Java development.
• Experience managing a team and coordinating with offshore development teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java SE/EE and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or Quarkus.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, XML, JS, Node.js, Web Services, REST services, and unit testing.
• Experience with back-end/server-side technologies and microservices environments like Kafka.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORM technologies.
• Proficient in version control tools such as Git, build management tools like Maven, and deployment using Docker.
• Experience working in a Linux environment with Bash scripting.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Desired Skills

• Experience in UI Technologies like Angular, React, JavaScript (TypeScript, Express, RxJS), Python, and C.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills for internal team collaboration and external client interactions.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
