Manager, Analytics & Insights
Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Relocation Provided)
Agoda is seeking a Manager, Analytics & Insights to lead strategic and operational initiatives within our Supply department. This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand, and relocation assistance is provided.
About the Role
As a Manager in Analytics & Insights, you will be responsible for driving growth and efficiency in the Supply department. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to implement key initiatives. This role requires a blend of hands-on work and executive-level strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Manage and standardize business cases for product development, headcount, and strategic prioritization.
- Experimentation: Define success metrics, validate experiments, and promote an experimental mindset within teams.
- Forecasting and Insights: Provide macro-level business intelligence to prevent missed opportunities and drive commercial behaviors.
- Analytics & Alerts: Conduct quantitative analysis and data mining to present business metrics and build communication frameworks.
- Process Improvement: Optimize processes and prioritize system enhancements across departments.
- Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports to monitor performance and prioritize efforts.
- Leadership: Lead a small team of experts, mentoring team members across various functions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of leadership experience in analytics, data science, insights, or strategy.
- 2+ years of experience leading analytics, operational, or technical teams.
- Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, or R.
- Strong statistical modeling and machine learning knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong program/project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, economics, or finance).
- Experience in strategic consulting and negotiating with C-level executives is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in A/B testing and experimentation.
- Background in the travel industry, e-commerce, tech, or consulting.
