Job Overview
Agoda is seeking a Manager, Supply Analytics to join our dynamic team in Bangkok, Thailand. This role is pivotal in driving strategic and operational initiatives that foster growth and efficiency within our Supply department. As a Manager, you will lead a team of analytics experts, work closely with cross-functional departments, and engage with executive leadership to implement key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
General
- Blend hands-on work with executive-level strategy.
- Lead a team and contribute to strategic planning.
Project Delivery
- Manage and standardize business cases for product development and strategic prioritization.
Experimentation
- Define success metrics, validate experiments, and promote an experimental mindset.
Forecasting and Insights
- Provide macro-level business intelligence to prevent missed opportunities and drive commercial behaviors.
Analytics & Alerts
- Conduct quantitative analysis and data mining to present business metrics.
- Develop communication frameworks based on business value and urgency.
Process Improvement
- Drive efficiencies across departments and optimize processes.
Reporting
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor performance and prioritize efforts.
Leadership
- Mentor and lead a small team of experts, fostering a culture of growth and development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in analytics, data science, insights, or strategy.
- 2+ years of experience leading technical teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, or R.
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, economics, or finance).
- Experience in strategy consulting and negotiating with C-level executives is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in A/B testing and experimentation.
- Background in the travel industry, e-commerce, tech, or consulting.
