About the Role
Join Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale, CA as a Mid-Career Technical Lead for Electronic Special Test Equipment Engineering. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team engaged in the design and development of Missile test and checkout equipment for the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in the development of Special Test Equipment (STE).
- Design automated test equipment (ATE) and electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation, and system level field tests.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams including Electronics & Mechanical Hardware, Electronic Hardware, FPGA Systems, and Software and Systems engineers.

Who We Are Looking For
- Experience developing/designing STE systems and card/box level STE.
- Experience performing HW/SW integration of card/box level STE.
- Experience with cable and electronic system board design and troubleshooting.
- Automated Test System Hardware / Software design and integration experience.
Desired Skills
- Board and system level automated test system debugging and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated System Design and Versatility.
- Test System and Test Safety Requirements Development.
- RF Test Methodology Design, Integration and Test experience.
- Designing automated tests and test equipment using NetAcquire, LXI instruments, cRIO, PXIe, Oscilloscopes, Serial Communications, SpaceWire Communications, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Counters, etc.
- Python Software Development experience for Automated Test Equipment highly desired.
- LabVIEW Windows, LabVIEWReal-Time and LabVIEW FPGA Development highly desired.
- Excellent presentation, oral and written skills.
- Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

- This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
