Overview
Our Technology teams are at the core of Primark's operations, surrounded by top industry Architects. As a Principal Architect for Digital, you will play a pivotal role in shaping customer experiences and driving business strategy through technological innovation. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and influence the future of technology within the Digital domain at Primark.
Role Responsibilities
- Enhance and evolve the technology strategy for Digital channels.
- Drive the technology roadmap in alignment with overall business strategy.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders and product management teams to design architecture blueprints and evolutionary designs.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and meet the high standards of enterprise-grade technology.
- Work closely with engineering leads to translate designs into high-quality software.
- Develop long-term visions for technology and solutions within the Digital domain.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years’ experience in architecture roles, with at least 5 years in lead/domain positions, preferably in an agile, large-scale environment.
- Deep understanding of domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and modern design practices.
- Experience in high availability design and deployment in environments with large transaction volumes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
