Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to lead our Notifications Platform at Workhuman. This role is pivotal in introducing next-generation personalization and notifications to our customers. You will be responsible for building a multi-channel, scalable, and resilient platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of the platform notifications team.
- Liaise with product engineers and business stakeholders to understand and solve pain points.
- Design and build our next-generation notifications offering.
- Work on monitoring and observability of platform services.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to reimagine notification capabilities.
- Mentor and guide less senior engineers.
- Evolve the tech stack at scale.
Required Skills
- 10+ years in enterprise applications development with Java, Spring, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Deep knowledge of RESTful API design.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and observability strategies.
- Strong database development skills with SQL and NoSQL databases.
