As a Digital Technology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers through the potential of AI to solve problems, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Own and lead technical discussions with startups and ISVs, leveraging your expertise in consultative sales methodology to influence their vision.
- Strategy Development: Develop technical strategies that align with the startup/ISV vision, addressing concerns, removing technical blockers, and validating business cases for investment.
- Solution Design: Use your technical knowledge and consultancy skills to design solutions that meet the needs of startups and ISVs, driving proof of concepts and pilots to create momentum.
- Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding the pain points of startups and ISVs, and working with partners to design and offer solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain and grow your expertise in database scenarios, analytics, data warehousing, data engineering, and AI technologies, while staying updated with market trends and competitive insights.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting, or a degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid database infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
- Proven ability to create database, analytics, and AI proof of concepts that lead to production deployments.
- Fluent in English; additional EMEA market languages are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with digital natives, startups, and ISVs.
- Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines, particularly Azure.
- Deep domain knowledge in databases, analytics, and AI, with familiarity in platforms such as AWS, GCP, MongoDB, and Oracle.
Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work up to 50% from home. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to empowering customers through the unique value of the Microsoft cloud.
