Job Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Business Development Manager for our Industry Products division. This role is pivotal in building solutions that address significant manufacturing technology challenges through partnerships and co-development with leading companies. You will collaborate with AWS Industry Products leadership, customers, solution architects, product engineering teams, and sales account teams to design, develop, and deliver transformative customer strategic co-development products and alliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Alliance Formation: Lead the formation and management of strategic alliances, focusing on long-term, complex engagements that require significant investment from AWS and our partners.
- Co-development Leadership: Serve as the alliance lead in upcoming co-developments, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and go-to-market strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster productive relationships with strategic customers to ensure a positive, long-term investment return.
- Market and Business Development: Incubate the market and business development of industry-specific software and services, identifying new customer opportunities and creating detailed investment plans.

- Experience: Extensive experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements and strategies that influence organizational leadership decisions.
- Skills: Proficiency in cloud computing services, strategic thinking, and technical execution.
- Leadership: Ability to operate both tactically and strategically, with a focus on incubating new business and broad partnerships.
