Remote Business Systems Analyst, Shared Services

Job Overview

Starbucks is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Shared Services Business Systems team. This role is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements, build, test, and establish processes to maintain data in our HRIS. You will play a crucial role in identifying patterns and trends to develop technical solutions that improve our systems and operations procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with business and technology teams to gather requirements and establish processes for maintaining data in our HRIS.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to inform users and project members, making recommendations to improve system design and business procedures.
• System Troubleshooting: Act as the contact for all users on system issues or problems, troubleshooting, identifying, and tracking software and hardware issues to ensure resolution.
• Documentation and Communication: Document and communicate system enhancements and process changes to business partners.
• System Maintenance: Maintain the integrity and functionality of business unit systems by performing system and database maintenance.
• Training and Support: Develop appropriate training materials and provide ongoing end-user systems training to ensure continued and correct use of applications.
• Project Management: Participate with IT developers in testing for system fixes, new releases, and enhancements to ensure functionality and user acceptance.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 3 years of end-user support and training, functional experience in a relevant area, systems design, testing, and implementation.
• Project Management: 2 years of project management experience.
• Technical Skills: Experience in script development and application testing.
