Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, combining both on-site and remote work. The position is for an 18-month contract with a competitive hourly rate of $53.56.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and Analyze Business Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Data Management: Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Design reports and create data visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Database Management: Utilize strong SQL skills and Oracle Database expertise to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Implement data quality remediation processes as needed.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience: 7+ years in a similar role, with a strong focus on data-heavy environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Oracle Database. Strong analytical skills and experience with business analysis and data analysis.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills
- Client Data Experience: Familiarity with enterprise data standards and data quality remediation processes.
