Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist at Humana, you will:

Leverage Machine Learning and AI: Utilize your expertise in Machine Learning, AI, and Generative AI to transform complex data into advanced analytic solutions.
Data Management: Develop, maintain, and analyze structured and unstructured data sets for comprehensive reporting.
Strategic Influence: Create reports, projections, models, and presentations to support business strategies and influence departmental direction.
Technical Leadership: Make informed decisions on complex technical issues, exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience or a Master's Degree with 3 or more years of experience in relevant fields.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Machine Learning, and AI.
Application Development: Experience in building applications and deploying products into production environments.
Analytical Expertise: Strong background in mathematics, statistics, modeling, and business analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Degree: PhD in a related field.
NLP and LLMs: Experience with NLP and LLMs such as Hugging Face, OpenAI, Langchain.
Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its data ecosystem.
