Role Overview
Join Risepoint as a Senior Data Scientist within our Data Analytics team, part of the Strategy function. Our team is dedicated to advancing the organization's mission by partnering with university clients and operational leaders to drive improvements and efficiencies through advanced analytics.
Responsibilities
- Scope AI/ML initiatives to deliver impactful solutions for our university partners and our business.
- Drive AI/ML experimentation by gathering data, designing analytical approaches, building models, and communicating results.
- Identify opportunities to trial new technologies or tools, ensuring our analytics toolkit remains industry-leading.
- Partner with Strategy Analysts and operational leaders to operationalize the analytics tools you develop.
- Establish counseling relationships across the business, from frontline to executive leadership.
- Mentor and develop team members and analytics professionals outside of our team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Master’s or PhD is a bonus).
- 2-4 years of professional experience in advanced analytics.
- Proven track record in delivering AI/ML experiments and operationalized tools.
- Experience as a workstream leader in AI/ML projects.
- Expertise in analytics tools like SQL, Python, Azure Synapse, Databricks.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
