Snowflake is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in solving our customers' most complex problems and closing large deals. You will work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately close business.

Key Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake Technology: You will present Snowflake's technology and vision to both executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Hands-On Demonstrations: Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
• Industry Immersion: Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and how to position Snowflake in relation to them.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.

Qualifications

• Outstanding Presentation Skills: Ability to present to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
• Technical Expertise: Broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• SQL Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to connect a customer’s specific business problems with Snowflake’s solutions.
• Educational Background: University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan, with total on-target earnings ranging from €173,600 to €241,500. The estimated base salary for this role is €130,200 to €181,125. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s equity plan.
