Join Snowflake as a Senior Product Manager for Streamlit Open Source
Snowflake is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of Streamlit, one of the most popular open-source frameworks for building data apps. This role is pivotal in enhancing the Streamlit Developer Experience, ensuring that developers can create beautiful, interactive apps with ease.
Key Responsibilities
- Innovate and Launch: Dream up and launch new features for Streamlit, driving its long-term strategy and roadmap.
- Collaborate: Work closely with other product managers, engineers, and designers to translate product strategy into detailed requirements, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Engage with various departments including engineering, design, marketing, customer support, and sales to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- User Engagement: Interact with Streamlit users through forums, GitHub, and social media to gather feedback and insights.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability studies to inform product decisions.
- Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market planning, including pricing, packaging, positioning, and competitive analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven track record in delivering high-quality user experiences, particularly in data science, machine learning, or numerical analysis in Python.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in software engineering and familiarity with Snowflake Cloud.
- Leadership: Ability to advocate for new ideas and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem Solving: Skilled in navigating complex requirements and feedback cycles to build consensus and drive solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting product vision to leadership and participating in live events and videos.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: The base salary range for this role is €187,000 - €276,000 annually.
- Equity and Bonus: Eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
