Snowflake is seeking a Consulting Manager to lead a team of Solutions Architects and Consultants. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our projects and customers by leveraging technical expertise and project delivery skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Oversee a team of Solutions Architects and Consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
- Mentorship: Mentor and develop team members, identifying strengths and growth opportunities.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize Snowflake technical knowledge to assess the quality and value of team contributions.
- Escalation Management: Act as the first point of contact for any delivery concerns related to your team.
- Recruitment: Hire and prepare future team members for success.
- Sales Collaboration: Work with sales teams to close growth opportunities and execute account strategies.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate cross-team learning and influence GTM strategies.
- Project Involvement: Maintain a 50% utilization target, owning strategic projects and acting as a billable oversight role.
Ideal Candidate
- Education: University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role, with at least 5 years in people management.
- Skills: Strong presentation skills, understanding of data analytics stack, and extensive knowledge of large-scale database technology.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash), and familiarity with data integration and BI tools.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

- Experience in a product company's services organization.
- Leadership experience in executing technical projects.
- Industry expertise in sectors like Media, Financial Services, or Healthcare.
- Application development experience.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Google, Microsoft).
- Snowflake Snowpro Advanced Certification.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: €162,000 - €225,750 annually.
- Equity and Bonus: Eligible for Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
