Role Overview
As a Robotics Technician at Teleo, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and integration of next-generation autonomous vehicles. Working closely with engineers, your responsibilities will include:
- Assembly and Validation: Assemble hardware components according to detailed drawings. Validate the functionality of assembled vehicles to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Electronics and Wiring: Perform tasks such as wire stripping, connector crimping, and harness building. Utilize various hand tools and calibrated equipment for precise work on electronic components.
- Soldering and Rework: Engage in fine-pitch soldering techniques and PCBA rework, enhancing the reliability of electronic systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues in electrical and mechanical systems, suggesting improvements and maintaining equipment to prevent failures.
- Documentation: Assist in developing assembly and test procedures. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline production processes.
- Collaboration: Work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to projects that involve hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in electronics labs or manufacturing environments is essential.
- Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Familiarity with Linux OS and command-line tools is advantageous.
- Physical Requirements: The role involves physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and occasionally working in varied weather conditions.
