Job Overview
Simply Made Apps is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our small team in Fargo, North Dakota. You'll be tasked with building the next wave of amazing features for Simple In/Out, our flagship product that has been live since 2011. This role also involves potential work on our desktop app for Windows and Mac.
Responsibilities
- Craft new features in tandem with our iOS and Android developers.
- Help maintain our website and APIs.
- Write solid code backed up by reliable automated tests.
- Work with our team to identify solutions, coding efficiencies, and solve problems.
- Recommend new patterns, new tooling, and new methods to improve our codebase.
Qualifications
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration (RSpec)
- JavaScript via React JS (and we like Redux).
- Git and Pull Request workflow REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of Electron helpful.
- An eye for design.
