Job Overview
Provable is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Rust to join our team in San Francisco. As a senior engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cryptographic and distributed systems. You will work on building privacy-preserving products using zero-knowledge proofs and collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and leadership to deliver on our technical vision.
Key Responsibilities
Distributed Systems Development
- Engineer distributed system components such as consensus logic, memory-mapped databases, networking stacks, and synchronization logic.
- Ensure systems are performant, safe, and correct.
Cryptography Engineering
- Maintain and optimize low-level cryptographic logic, including signature schemes and zero-knowledge proof systems.
- Collaborate with mathematicians to enhance cryptographic solutions.
Product Engineering
- Integrate protocols into products by creating easy-to-use interfaces and APIs.
- Work with product teams to encapsulate useful protocol components.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2-3+ years of professional experience with Rust.
- Strong foundation in blockchain concepts and experience contributing to blockchain projects.
- Experience in low-level system programming and/or distributed systems design.
