Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Reality Defender, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and infrastructure. This role involves ensuring system reliability, efficiency, and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization. You will also be tasked with deploying and integrating the company’s products in on-premise environments for customers, ensuring seamless integration and performance according to client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend systems.
- Ensure system reliability and efficiency through monitoring and optimization.
- Deploy and integrate products in on-premise environments.
- Develop and oversee continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Node.JS, Python, GraphQL, Go, or Rust.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Experience with Terraform and Pulumi for infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $160,000 to $200,000 per year.
