Position Overview
Join Meero as a Senior Backend Engineer and become a key player in our Platform Team. This dedicated unit focuses on supporting various verticals by leveraging both existing and newly developed platform components. Our team's objectives include implementing new features, enhancing reliability, and optimizing processing speed to improve customer experience and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust platforms to support our high-traffic services.
- Implement and optimize APIs and backend systems to enhance application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and technologies.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
- Define our operational excellence standards.
- Shape the way Meero is delivering software on a scale.
Profile
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
- Expertise in Python development (understanding of Java is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS (experience with GCP is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expert-level experience in developing backend systems on a scale with a DevOps mindset.
- Understanding of developing resilient, scalable, and secure software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (French is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Eager to learn, explore, and take actions.
