Job Description
As a Senior Python Developer at Moore, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Python-based applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Python programming, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
- Implement data processing pipelines and integrate with various data sources.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Python development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and the team's technical capabilities.
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries/frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Pandas).
- Experience with developing RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
