About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our next-generation data and machine learning platform. This is a critical role that will shape the future of our data infrastructure and drive innovation across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to create scalable, robust, and high-performance data solutions that will fuel our growth and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Architecture Design: Design and build a scalable, secure, and efficient data platform that supports both traditional analytics and machine learning workloads.
• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the data strategy, governance policies, and architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability for all downstream processes.
• ML Platform Implementation: Lead the design and deployment of a machine learning platform that supports the entire ML lifecycle, from data preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to ensure our data architecture is cutting-edge and future-proof.
• Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure all data solutions comply with relevant data privacy regulations and best practices in data security.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data management, data engineering/analysis or related fields with at least 3 in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
• Expertise in SQL, NoSQL databases, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Strong experience with modern data architecture frameworks, data lakes, data warehousing solutions, and cloud platforms such as Azure (or equivalent).
• Experience in designing data and machine-learning platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and experience solving complex data challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• English and Czech: both spoken and written.
