About the Role
We are seeking a talented and accomplished Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative and inclusive team at Futurice. This role is crucial for contributing to our generative AI initiatives, solving complex problems, and providing advice to decision-makers. You will lead the design and development of tailored solutions that leverage GenAI, harnessing the power of Large Language Models (LLM) to address complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor within the AI domain, driving innovation and excellence in the Data Competence.
- Work with LLMs, vector embeddings, and retrieval systems to develop a comprehensive GenAI application that leverages advanced natural language processing (NLP) techniques for tasks such as text generation, summarization, question answering, and content recommendation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of AI use cases that contribute real value to the users.
- Advise and support stakeholders on applying AI methodologies in their business to enable data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience in GenAI, machine learning, and software development, with a history of successfully implementing (generative) AI use cases into practical solutions.
- Proficiency in programming skills such as Python and other AI-related libraries and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs e.g. GPT or Llama2 and understanding of NLP coupled with LLMs.
- Demonstrated ability in AI/ML solution architecture design and experience with data and AI tools on popular cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Possession of relevant certifications in cloud technology or GenAI.
- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
