Lead Data Scientist
Are you ready to take Säästöpankkiryhmä's data and analytics utilization to the next level? We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our analytics development team.
Role Overview
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be part of the Data and Analytics team at Säästöpankkiryhmä, responsible for developing and advancing the use of data and analytics based on business needs. You will work in a modern and well-functioning environment, utilizing tools such as Snowflake, Snowpark, and Python. You will be responsible for the further development of this environment.
This is a new role, allowing you to significantly influence the content of the work and the future of analytics utilization. Your tasks will include developing and creating predictive analytics models and helping us take the next step in utilizing large language models (LLM). Experience in utilizing customer and sales data in analytics is advantageous for this role.
You will work closely with our data analysts and be part of a development team consisting of skilled professionals from both internal and consulting backgrounds. We use agile methods for development and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive analytics models.
- Enhance the technical platform for data analytics.
- Collaborate with data analysts and development teams.
- Utilize agile methodologies for project development.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong expertise in MLOps solutions development and productionization.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Interest in improving technical platforms.
- Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
- Ability to communicate and produce content in both Finnish and English.
