Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning and extensive experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), among other areas. This role is crucial for implementing AI/ML-driven solutions across various projects, ensuring the delivery of substantial business value to our clients.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with EPAM's clients and internal teams to implement AI/ML-driven solutions.
- Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Work in a hybrid setup, allowing flexibility between home and our office in Riga, Latvia.
What You Have
- 5+ years of production experience in Data Science / Machine Learning.
- Expertise in Deep Learning (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (pandas, sklearn, NumPy).
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the following domains: NLP, Machine Learning Engineering, Computer Vision, Time Series, Recommendation Systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- B2+ level in English, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with at least one Cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
