Senior DevOps Engineer
shipzeroYour Mission
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at shipzero, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, orchestrating, and maintaining scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure Cloud. You will develop and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of our software. Additionally, you will support processes to maintain efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our data-driven emissions management platform.
You will implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure. Working in a diverse SCRUM team, you will collaborate with data, product, and software teams to further develop system architecture and technical implementation of new product features. Ensuring the security of our platform by implementing best practices for identity management, network security, and ISO compliance is also a key part of your role.
Your Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD development, and Linux systems.
- Expertise in cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and familiarity with orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A good sense of humor.
