What You Will Do
- Site Reliability Engineering: Gain a deep understanding of our existing platforms and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
- Development and Maintenance: Participate in code reviews, ensuring development standards are adhered to. Design and implement features of increasing complexity.
- Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate closely with other internal teams and share knowledge. Act as a trusted mentor to junior team members.
- On-call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation to provide application support, incident management, and problem-solving.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a software engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Solid background in Linux and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Exposure to multiple programming languages.
- Background in private cloud (Openstack) or AWS.
