About the Role
Cohere Commerce is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our founding team. This role is pivotal in leading our software product development, focusing on driving user acquisition and fundraising initiatives. As a key member of our early team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our product and company.
Responsibilities
- Migrate existing beta product to a new SEO-optimized and responsive stack.
- Design, develop, and implement the frontend using modern frameworks like React.js and Next.js.
- Integrate with Supabase backend for seamless data flow.
- Implement robust user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Thoroughly test all features to ensure they function as expected, with assistance provided.
- Deploy the web app on hosting platforms such as Vercel.
- Iterate product development with the team based on feedback and performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in React/Next.js with TypeScript/Javascript.
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Strong understanding of frontend and backend integration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations.
- Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities.
Bonus Points
- Experience in creating SEO-optimized and scalable web applications.
- Experience working on an Infrastructure or Platform team supporting a small to medium engineering organization.
- Solid understanding of client networking, performance, caching, client storage solutions, and asynchronous programming.
