About the Team and Role
As a Senior Software Engineer for Poe, you will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing the chat experience and bot ecosystem. This role involves planning and implementing new features, contributing to both front-end and back-end development, and taking shared ownership of the product development cycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, data scientists, QA, and other engineers to deliver AI-powered user experiences.
- Iterate quickly on projects from ideation to launch using the full web technology stack.
- Champion user experience and sustainable, scalable code practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Available for meetings during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm PT).
- 5+ years of full-time professional experience in full-stack development.
- 3+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- 3+ years in Python or similar programming language.
- Experience with backend storage systems like MySQL, MyRocks, Memcached, or Redis.
