Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our innovative platform for energy management. You will work remotely, collaborating with a global team of engineers to solve complex design and technical challenges in the French energy market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Python and Django.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support our platform.
- Work with AWS and tools like Terraform, Packer, and Consul to manage our infrastructure.
- Collaborate with client-side developers using React and Redux.
- Ensure robust and fault-tolerant software through attention to detail and domain modeling.
- Process and analyze large datasets from smart meters to feed into machine learning models.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Python development.
- Proficiency in Django or equivalent web frameworks.
- Experience with HTTP and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous processing with Celery.
- Experience with Postgres and AWS.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Bonus: Experience with React and Redux.
- Fluency in French and at least B2 level in English.
