Resource Innovations is seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Python Developer to join our dynamic team. About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Python Developer, you will collaborate with project delivery staff and senior developers to design and implement new features and applications. These tools are essential for our delivery staff to effectively implement utility energy efficiency programs. You will be responsible for writing secure and efficient Python code within a Django web framework, ensuring data security and privacy protocols are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to scope out and design new features and applications.
• Write Python code within a Django web framework securely and efficiently.
• Utilize GitHub, AWS, Heroku, and other components of our ecosystem effectively.
• Ensure data security/privacy protocols are established and followed.
• Make recommendations for process and technology improvements.
• Document code and features for both developer and user perspectives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience writing code.
• Proficiency in Python, including use of basic data types and operations.
• Ability to work independently and ask questions to avoid being stuck.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience with the Django web framework.
• Experience building and deploying APIs.
• Successful completion of in-person testing for proficiency in Python and/or Django.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Experience with Heroku, AWS, Jira, and GitHub.
• Experience working with engineering data, calculations, and Plotly JS visualizations.
• Experience with New Relic or similar tools for monitoring application performance.
• Experience working with data scientists and machine learning applications.
