About the Role
Quora is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Poe Core Product team. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from various countries around the world. As a senior engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing core product features for Poe, a platform designed to make state-of-the-art AI accessible to everyone.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, data scientists, QA, and other engineers to deliver interactive, AI-powered user experiences on Poe.
- Lead a group of engineers to drive projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Quickly iterate on projects, from ideation to implementation and launch, using the full web technology stack.
- Advocate for user experience and sustainable, scalable code practices.
- Mentor and coach top technical talent to help grow the team and onboard new hires.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time professional full-stack experience building user-facing consumer web products.
- 3+ years of professional experience with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- 3+ years of experience in Python or a similar programming language.
- Experience with backend storage systems such as MySQL, MyRocks, Memcached, or Redis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for Poe and Quora’s products and mission.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
