About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Ads product team, you will be working on generating revenue for the company through our advertising platform. This role involves:
- Project Leadership: Drive projects from ideation to production using the full technology stack.
- System Architecture: Architect, design, and implement features for our online ad platform at massive scale.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with machine learning engineers, data scientists, product managers, and designers.
- Data-Driven Development: Build data-intensive applications and systems to enable advertisers to reach a well-targeted audience.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement features for our mission-critical online ad platform.
- Work with designers, fellow engineers, and data scientists to prototype and implement functionality.
- Analyze impact and iterate based on data.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of full-time product development experience in consumer or enterprise web products.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with backend storage systems such as MySQL, HBase, Memcached, or Redis.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies like React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in online advertising or related areas in monetization & marketing.
- Experience with open-source data infrastructure technologies like Kafka, Airflow, and Spark.
