Job Description
Byborg Enterprises is seeking a Senior PHP Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Budapest, Hungary. As a Senior PHP Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-availability backend systems within an event-driven microservice architecture. You will create PHP-based REST APIs for frontend applications and a C# desktop client, and collaborate closely with frontend and other backend teams within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-availability backend systems for support and product management.
- Develop PHP-based REST APIs for frontend applications and a C# desktop client.
- Communicate effectively with frontend teams and other backend teams.
- Participate in Scrum events to ensure agile development processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in system design with high-availability, high-performance, and scalable systems.
- At least 3 years of PHP development experience using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with SOLID principles.
- At least 2 years of experience with RDBMS.
- Nice to have: Experience with OpenAPI (min 2.0, preferably 3.*), Elasticsearch, Messaging Queue, Event sourcing, and Docker.
