Software Developer at Oracle

Job Overview

Join Oracle as a Software Developer in our Engineering department, where you will be part of a dynamic team working on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will be involved in building tools and services for new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our mission is to provide our customers with best-in-class DevOps services to manage their code, build, and deployments within OCI.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of OCI DevOps Source Code Management Services.
Apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Qualifications

Strong coding skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
Experience in a collaborative, agile environment.
Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking knowledge.
Ability to recommend and justify changes to new and existing products and establish consensus with data-driven approaches.
