Overview
Timescale is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in backend development and a passion for AI and developer tools. This role focuses on enhancing the AI developer experience by building and maintaining Python libraries and integrations, defining and designing developer experiences for AI products, and creating demos and content.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-related Python libraries and integrations.
- Define and design the developer experience (DX) for AI products.
- Write demos and content to educate and engage developers.
- Automate benchmarks and contribute to system automation.
- Collaborate with users to enhance the platform for AI application development.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Python and backend development.
- Passion for creating excellent UX for developer tools.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux and system automation.
- Experience or strong interest in generative AI is preferred.
