About the Role
The Core Observability team at Datadog is pivotal in enhancing reliability engineering practices through effective observability. Our mission is to establish observability best practices and golden paths that are easily adoptable by engineering teams. This includes optimizing how Datadog itself utilizes its tools and services.
What You’ll Do
- Establish new golden paths for observability and build adoption across Engineering at Datadog.
- Design and implement internal tooling in partnership with Engineering teams to support observability use cases.
- Collaborate with product teams to influence and agree on solutions for internal observability use cases, promoting best practices and improving reliability across Datadog products.
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- You possess the ability to analyze and propose efficient, easy-to-adopt solutions.
- You have hands-on experience with structured programming languages like Go and Python.
- You have strong communication skills and experience in cross-team projects.
- You have experience leading the adoption of projects with wide impact across Engineering.
