About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Cloud Security Platform team at Datadog, you will be at the forefront of building high-throughput, real-time data pipelines using a variety of programming languages and technologies such as Java, Go, and Python. Your work will involve using Kafka, Elasticsearch, and other open-source components to ensure the security and integrity of our customers' data and infrastructure.

- Build and operate distributed, high-throughput, real-time data pipelines.
- Utilize Java and Go, with bits of Python or other languages as needed.
- Own meaningful parts of our service, having a significant impact on our products and growth.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers.
Who You Are
- You hold a BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or have equivalent experience.
- You have significant backend programming experience in one or more languages.
- You are skilled in low-level programming and care about code simplicity and performance.
- You are an accountable team player who likes to get things done.
