About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Datadog, you will be tasked with solving scaling bottlenecks in critical services, deploying new features to production, and investigating and fixing production issues. You will design architectures to handle high traffic and plan important projects with your team.
What You’ll Do
- Solve scaling bottlenecks in a critical service.
- Deploy new features to production, using feature flags for progressive rollouts.
- Investigate and fix production issues in services your team owns.
- Design architectures to scale up services for increased traffic.
Who You Are
- Experienced in one or more programming languages.
- Value code simplicity and performance.
- Capable of designing architecture to solve problems at high scale.
- Hold a BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or have equivalent experience.
- Thrive in a fast, high-growth startup environment.
