Route is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a leader in the post-purchase experience, Route is on a mission to connect the world’s commerce. We are looking for a skilled engineer who is passionate about building innovative products that empower our customers.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Route, you will be part of the Protect team, responsible for enabling post-purchase package protection and ensuring it works flawlessly for our customers. Our products are available in thousands of online stores globally, and you will tackle challenges related to availability, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve software.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Work on all parts of the stack: backend, frontend, infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve outstanding results.
- Take full ownership of services, from designing and building cloud infrastructures to developing backend services and APIs.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.
- 3+ years of experience working in the E-Commerce industry.
- Proficient in developing with Terraform, AWS, Gitlab, and the Open-Source Grafana Stack.
- Proven track record with architecting 12-factor applications.
- Experience with maturing testing frameworks for maintaining test coverage standards with CI/CD automation integration.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose languages, with a preference for Golang.
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science is preferred.
