Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer Lead specializing in front-end development, you will take charge of complex software projects, from conceptual design to deployment. Your role involves leading the design, development, and debugging of sophisticated software programs, contributing to new products and enhancements. You will be instrumental in conducting system programming tests and interfacing software tests, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform code reviews, ensuring best practices in software development.
- Design and document software solutions using various tools like diagrams, flow charts, dashboards, and reports.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts with new software tools and programming techniques to advance project goals.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance productivity and reduce dependencies.
- Provide technical guidance and updates during agile ceremonies, ensuring compliance with InfoSec requirements.
- Mentor and inspire a team of engineers, fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, and other relevant front-end technologies.
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, and Python.
- Comprehensive knowledge of databases like Cosmos, SQL, Postgres, and Liquibase.
- Experience in technical documentation and data visualization tools.
- Basic knowledge in DevOps and infrastructure as a service (IaaS).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems, or equivalent training/work experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in an IT or engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management and backend development experience are advantageous.
