Overview
Outside Interactive, Inc. is a leading company for active lifestyle enthusiasts, offering a variety of media, digital, and technology platforms. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Moments team. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining our subscription and identity management platform.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop critical path features for our subscription and identity management platform.
- Mentor team members on development best practices.
- Provide guidance on Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
- Review PRs, create and contribute to technical designs.
- Resolve bugs and collaborate with developers building off our platform.
- Work with engineering, product management, and product design to improve and support a seamless user management integration across products.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of experience with Django, Python, and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
- Experience building APIs using payment providers like Stripe, Braintree, and mobile payments (Apple/Google).
- Experience with a relational database like Postgres or MySQL.
- Experience building with cloud providers such as AWS & GCP.
